We have a consignment store called Karolsel (sp?) Kids here in Matthews, NC and they have a lot of really cute clothes. They are pretty strict about the clothes the accept. Most are name brands and in new or really, really great condition. I go there about once a month, spend about $20 and come out for at least two bags of really nice outfits for Riley. Anyway, I am not certain if they are a chain or not. I would check your yellow pages for consignment shops. They are always popping up and you can find some great stuff in some of them.

I hate to admit it, but Target....the clearance racks. And Babies R Us, again the clearance racks. I have looked in consignment shops, but I find that I get just as good, if not a better deal shopping the clearance sections. Oh, I have a Penny's outlet by me that is a good place too. I just bought some "boy" sleepers for my daughter, I figured the price was right and who sees her when she is sleeping.

Kohl's used to have really cute clothes on clearance. Since I can't just buy that I have banned myself from thse store so I don't know if they still do. We also have a really good consignment shop that is strict in what they accept too and I love it. I also love Old Navy at the end of the seaon. My dd already has a few summer outfits and a bathing suit I got for a little over $1 there.

I have the best luck at Kohl's. Just last week I got DS Carter PJ's for $1.88.
