This may sound a little odd, but I will do my best to describe it.

Not to long ago I read this story about the butterfly and it's connection with breast cancer. It may have been a Native American story.

Well, I can't seem to find it anywhere. I have looked at every site I can think of and I've tried to Google it and I'm getting nowhere.

I tried to explain to DH and I just can't get it right and I thought this would help. Any ideas??? Anyone know what I'm talking about???

If I could get it in the next 15 minutes that would be GREAT. If not, he can look at it tonight. TIA...

Is this it?

Over the years we have used the butterfly as an "unofficial" logo because the butterfly has a story of hope and renewal. Each butterfly starts life as a homely caterpillar. It then goes through a metamorphosis, lying dormant in its dark cocoon. Later it emerges as a beautiful creature, the butterfly. A woman diagnosed with breast cancer can undergo a similar metamorphosis. We all go through a dark period when newly diagnosed and undergoing treatment. After this dark period, we can emerge stronger, freer of spirit, more graceful and more beautiful than before. Look to the story of the butterfly for hope and inspiration.

You are always useful. You remind me of my TV shows, you educate me, and you keep me informed

This may not sound very logical, but I told DH I wanted a tattoo for my b-day. I told him I've been thinking a lot about my mom and I wanted to get a butterfly on my lower back or lower abdomen. He asked...why a butterfly? So I told him...aside from being beautiful, it was significant to breast cancer and they had always reminded me of her.

Shell, you have been very helpful. That would have driven me CRAZY until I found it again.

Awww...shucks....Thanks Tammara! I think a butterfly would be a beautiful 'tribute' to your mom!

My stepmom let the cat out of the bag this afternoon. He is planning on taking me tomorrow night to get it done It will be small and tasteful. I will post pics when it's done. I'm getting excited and scared. I'm so afraid it's going to hurt...BAD.
