I saw it on CNN on the TV at lunch. It looked really bad. 14 confirmed dead and they were looking for other victims. It looked like the Tallahassee (sp??) area. Right??

I live a little south of all the areas that were damaged. It is pretty bad. Lots of people..2 kids died. Kids are left with no parents. People lost their homes, everything. Our state did not need this. Red Cross has no funds...they are asking for blood donors. I thank God we were spared. I feel really bad for the people affected.

No, there are some that live there. I can't think of their names right now, but I remember somebody living in Eustis/Tavares/Mt. Dora area of Lake County. The damage was north of that closer to the Marion County line.

I heard that Volusia County (DeBary) got hammered, too. I have checked with all my friends and family down there and they are ok, but they live in Seminole and Orange Counties. Thank goodness my parents moved! Of course, they have a different set of problems now with the snow storm.

I am heading there for vacation in a couple hours. My fil lives 3 miles from the area. Very scary. Thankfully they are okay and no damage. I hope there are no more storms.
