All day today I have been asking my DD to do things..

Me: "Lily, could you please put your doll stroller away"
Lily: "In a minute"

1 hour later

Me: "Lily, I need you to put your Barbie slippers away so no one trips on them"
Lily: "Just a sec."

A little while later

Me: "Lily, I asked you to put your stroller away.."
Lily: "Hold on"

I finally figured out......She was giving me a taste of my own medicine...The next thing I know she'll be sitting on MommySavers saying "Hold on, just a sec."

OMG! That is too funny. Kids crack me up. My 4 year old neice is always telling me and dh something to do and if we say no she gets this look on her face, puts her hands on her hips and stops her foot in a huge exaggerated motion. Its her "putting her foot down" Think she's heard that one too many times?

Kids are so funny. My 2 year old dd is constantly saying funny stuff she gets from us, of course my mind is blank right now.
Oh, when we tell her no, she says "fine". And when we ask her what is wrong she says "nothing". My husband hates it when I say that to him, and now his little girl says it too!
