I got my mother's ring for Christmas. It is beautiful. I do not always wear my rings because I am often just home with the kids. When I go out, I do put them on. It means something really special to me. If it is not something you would really like though, there is no reason to get it...

I have one that Matt surprised me with for my birthday a couple years ago. I had never really thought I wanted one, but after I put it on my finger, I fell in love with it. He had our birthstones put in it along with the children's so that it is more of a family ring. I wear it almost every day. I also have a mother's pendant. It has a diamond at the top and the 3 stones for the kids' birthdays along the bottom.
