I wasn't sure where to post this so please move it if needed.

I just found out that my grandfather whom we call "Bunka" has been diagnosed with emphysema and congestive heart failure. Please pray that all will go well with more upcoming tests and that the meds that the doctor has prescribed will improve him a little. He is retaining a lot of fluid, he gained 4 pounds in one week from the fluid. He also is having a terrible time breathing especially at night. And I do know that he is very tired. So, pray that God will also give him some restful nights.

Thanks all!! He is not having a very good night so far. He has been sleeping a lot and can't seem to get warm. Otherwise nothing new.

So sorry. My prayers are with you and Bunka.

Thanks for all the prayers. Bunka seems to be feeling better. He is not sleeping well at night so the doctor has put him on oxygen at bedtime to see if this will help him to rest better. He is still very tired and sticking close to home. The doctor is hoping that once the medicine really kicks in good, he will feel more and more like himself. I hope that he jumps back because I certainly am not ready to lose him yet!! I will update more later if any new developments come along.
