No, he didn't leave me for some other woman! He left me for a wrestling tournament! He left today around 1:00 from work, and he won't be home until really late tomorrow night. I want to do some things around the house while he's gone - because A) then he won't have to do them and B) because I love surprising him!

I've already taken down the shower doors from the 2nd bathroom. We're going to redecorate that one, and we will put up a shower curtain instead of the doors. That didn't take long. I really would love to prime the walls in there, too, but I don't know if we have primer in the garage or not. I should go out there and check after I get this post written.

I'm going to do the normal Saturday things tomorrow- Walmarting, cleaning the house, laundry, etc. I also need to see if I can pick up a Valentines Day gift for him. His birthday is Wednesday, but we're going to celebrate it Sunday night.

Any ideas of extra special things to do around the house while dh is gone? I'm really in no mood to just veg out in front of the TV, so I might as well be productive!

Geez, you scared me for a second there!

Do you have any good books? If I were alone for a decent period of time it would be my choice, once all the chores are done that it.

I would be reading too, but I understand you wanting to suprise your hubby. I assume since you are asking us for ideas, that your house is clean, and there is nothing else to catch up on. Laundry is done, dishes, dusting? My husband is always rearangind the furniture when he is bored? If your stuff isn't heavy, maybe that would be an idea. I geuss look for that primer.
