I am SO PROUD of my DD...She wanted to get her hair cut and donate it to locks of love!!! Kels has been growing her hair out for over a year now, lately she has been getting a lot of knots and felt it was time to cut it and "give another little girl a chance to have pretty hair"... Here are some pics (the back looks good, it looks weird in the pic, but it is angled and flipping different ways underneath)
Well I sent you an email...or I sent Kels an email...but...
I'M SO PROUD OF HER!! She's done a wonderful thing, and you already know how I feel about locks-of-love...it's a chance to help someone less fortunate...and Kels had a great head of hair that would make another child sooo happy!!
We love you Kels!!!!

Thanks Ladies! She is loving all your responses...."Mommy you have such nice friends!" (don't I though ) and Dar....she said Bethanne only needs 6 inches (they lowered the minimum inches from 10 to 6...we still ended up with 11 inches donated!)...she'll go with her

Bethanne would go in a second!! She's been bugging me to donate for a while now, a friend of her's in school did it and now she wants to do it. And after seeing Kels picture and getting it done...I had to measure her hair...she still needs a couple of inches to go...to have it shoulder length when cut.
But she would love for Kels to go with her!!

I just love hearing stories like this. I love the simplistic way kids just want to please and do something helpful for those in need. Makes us take a second look at ourselves, you know what I mean? What obstacles do we put up in front of ourself to do something for someone else?
What a great story. What a loving little girl. AND BRAVE...not too many little girls like to part from their long locks
You did a great job with this one Mom. You should be so proud! I know I am a proud auntie!
