I'm so shaken up. A teacher in my son's school died this week in class. Her room is connected to my son's room, so he knows her pretty well. She had a heart attack and fell and hit her head and the poor thing died once right there in front of the kids. She had wet herself and some of the kids were laughing. Finally, one of them ran to get help. The paramedics were able to bring her back once, but they lost her again. I feel sick.

My son was out of school all week sick, so he doesn't know. I know I have to tell him, but I don't even know how to form the words. His cousin in in that class, I can't imagine what she is going through having seen that.

How traumatic for them poor kids!Prayers going up for everyone.I hope they offer counsiling for the kids that need it.

I'm so sorry for those children. How traumatic to see someone die. Those that laughed will probably end up feeling bad about it, too. Poor kids.

That has been one of my minor fears....dying in front of my class. I know we can't pick where we die, but I really don't want it to be at work in front of kids.

That is terribly tragic. My prayers are lifted for the teacher's family and all of the teacher's students. I hope people won't focus on the students' initial reaction.
