I love watching those shows on PBS also....I never catch them in time though...the only one I have gotten to see allt he way to the end is the one where a couple got married on there.

I don't know, going without central air in the old west days, only taking baths once a week if your that lucky,letting the man have all the control ??!!! I would be the bitchiest wife on the prairie i think!

I could have done the turn of the century 1880's-1900's.

I love watching those old shows like House on the Prairie, not sure, how I would feel about going back to those times. They were tougher times than now, I'm sure. I might be interested to see what the 1920's & 1930's were like, my parents & grandparents era.

oh I would love to go back if I didn't know about modern conveniences! I would miss my HE washer! However, I have always wished that I could also be on a pbs frotier house or any other show they have. THat looks like so much fun but not a lifetime if it stinks! lol Just a year. If dh had a job that would allow us to do that I would apply in a heartbeat!
