The heat doesn't work and we still haven't had anyone out here to work on it. Luckily we have heaters and everything stays snug. Sometimes it comes on, sometimes it doesn't. Tonight Dh walked into the kitchen and there was water everywhere. There is a pipe under the sink leaking. This is the second one in 4 months. Last time this happened the landlord flat out told us to go to Lowe's because that's where we could get a piece to fix it. Last time I checked it wasn't OUR responsibility to fix it. I know that we will have to fix this one too and it's just irritating. This house is NICE, and it's not that old. However, everything is just falling apart. 2 out of 4 eyes on the stove doesn't work, and you would know it's the FRONT 2. I will be SO ready when May gets here and our lease is up.

Just wanted to vent a little... I think I need a hug...lol

Wow - I would be frustrated, too! The worst part is that it isn't your problem! I don't know why your landlord thinks it is acceptable to ask you to do these repairs.

Good luck! May isn't too far away!

That is terrible!!! That is the one perk of renting, not having to deal with repairs!!! Is there someone or some place to complain about your landlord to?

I would look into your state landlord/tenant laws and turn the landlord in. At the very least if you fix something you should be able to deduct the cost from your rent (unless your lease states otherwise).

I hope everything gets fixed - and/or May gets here super quick for you!
