Have any of you ladies ever had a problem with Bill Me Later ? We purchased two items thru them online back in December. They never sent us a bill and when we tried to get online to pay it with our information it wont let us.
They have called my husband 3 times harassing him for payment of a bill we never recieved and cant get online to pay. They have told my DH we owe them 40 in late fees now. I tried to pay it today and explained to the lady on the phone what the situation was she said we were locked out of our account for non payment .

All I wanted to do was pay the bill in full she wouldnt let me was very rude and hung up on me when I got a little upset with her for not letting me pay it.

I don't know what company that is, but it sounds shady to me! When they call back, or if you can call them, immediately talk to the supervisor and tell them the situation. DO NOT pay the late fees. At least, I wouldn't. You didn't do anything wrong to have to pay. Anyway, after you are able to pay, let them know that you will not be doing business with them again and exactly why. And chalk it up to a lesson learned. I'm sure some other ladies will have more advice.

my DH talked to these people 3 times and everytime he asked for the supervisor and they refused to get one on the phone for him. I agree with you on the shady part and yes I have definetly learned my lesson not to use that service anymore ... they are a very bad company and rude customer service reps. thanks for responding.

Dh has used Bill Me Later numerous times and we've never had a problem. It is owned by Chase.

I would try calling the company you bought the items from and see if they can help you out. They might have numbers available to help.

If that doesn't work, yank the credit report for who ever's name was used for the Bill Me Later option. If it's on there, dispute the charge- you can do it online, it's free and the credit report agency handled it all for me on a charge I had once where I had paid the bill in full but the company was reporting me as having never paid.
