Yeah!!!!!!!!
My 2 1/2 yr old just used the toilet!!!!!!!!!!! now I know this may not happen again for awhile but he has been super interested in it for a couple weeks now. He even takes himself into the bathroom and tries to go quite a few times during the day!
So I am crossing my fingers and keeping the thought in my head that he is little yet so it may not work ( and I am not forcing the issue)
But it would be super great to get one out of diapers ( we would be down to only 2 in diapers then)

He sounds ready to me. My older girls were potty training at that age. the last one is 3 1/2 and has decided to stay a baby.
I agree don't push let him lead the way. good for you, mom

It's Girl Scout Cookie Time

This must be the day for potty chairs! My ds just used the potty chair last night and has used it three times this morning. I just asked him if he wanted to go peepee on the potty just now though, and he shook his head no and said "diaper". Oh well, it's a good start. He's just 20 months, so I'm not pushing it. He won't even consider the big potty yet.

Yay!! my ds went poopoo on the Big Potty. It was a good thing too since we kinda ran out of wipes.....

I am letting him do it in his own time, maybe the interest sparks from having an older brother that he adores!

Lily is ok, not really eating anything and has diarrhea ( since friday) I am taking her in to her doc this afternoon, they are a bit concerned with her not eating that great. So we will see! She has 3 doc appts in the next 24 hours...so hopefully all goes well. Thank you for you asking how he is? How is your daughter? ( I hope I am rite ) she was sick wasnt she?

Yes, she was sick w/breathing problems. DS was sick, too, and both had ear infections. Thankfully, our house is pretty healthy again, and that drama is over. Thank you for asking. I'm sorry little Lily isn't eating to get her strength. I so hope it's a minor bug! Prayers out to you. Please let your little guy know we are so proud of him!
