When dd#1 was a baby her fav was little bunny foo foo. Didn't matter what was going on making her cry she would stop and laugh. Worked for dd2 as well. When dd1 turned 2 it changed to I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL by Joan Jett, she knows most of the words. Now at 5 she is a Joan Jett fanatic.

My kids love "I like to move it" from Madagascar. I had to download it from Itunes and burn a disc of it. They also like "Let's get it started" by Black Eyed Peas, and my son loves "Toxic" by Britney Spears. "Little Bunny Foo Foo" is also a fave of ours, of course my son changes the words to "Little Bunny Poo Poo"

My 8 yr old DS is quite the music lover. For a long time his favorite singer was that guy from Matchbox 20 - can't remember his name at the moment. He knew all his songs. Then last year we voted online for the Nick Kids Choice Awards and he chose Green Day in whatever favorite category they were. I said - you don't know who Green Day is! - next day, we're in the car and a Green Day song comes on and he knew it was them. So my 8 yr old is rocking out to the alternative punk rock band. Gee, I can't wait for the teen years!

I remember getting a 45 of '10 little indians' for my 5th birthday and I thought it was just awesome. Guess society has come a long way.

When ds was a bit younger he LOVED the Dixie Chicks song "Long Time Gone." He could be crying his little eye out and the moment this song comes on he would just stop. Needless to say it was a well played song at our house.

Now that he is older his new one is "Break Away" by Kelly Clarkson. He calls it "Sprinkle My Wings and Fly." He is absolutely convinced that the song is talking about Heaven.

Right now it's the who hoo song. I really don't know the acctual name of it, and it's not a kids song. They play it all the time on the radio here, and every time Gavin hears it he start singing right along! He gets really upset when it's over. He just doesn't understand why I can't play it again!

Its called "Song 2" by Blur and it is about 7 or 8 years old! I rocked out to it when I was like 15! They have gotten to where they play it constantly here! Very strange!

My kids love Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights, All American Rejects, things like that and now the Van's song by Wolfpac...Got my Vans on but they look like Sneakers...(just in case you've heard it). They really don't like kids music but I think it is because they never really listened to it. It is kinda nice that they love to listen to what we like so there is no fighting in the car on what we listen to!

My kids don't have a favorite song, but they love lots of Raffi songs. Bayley (7) likes the ones she can dance to. And I got a CD from the library that had "Supercalifragilistic" from Mary Poppins on it -- she played that stupid song so many times I hid the CD until I took it back to the library so I didn't have to hear it anymore. I could listen to Raffi all day long, on the other hand.
