I can only take Tylenol so I'm not much help. I can however tell you that my heating pad is my very BEST friend when I have cramps! Try that

Ibuprofen, but it thins your blood, so it could seem like you're bleeding more.

two extra strength tylenol washed down with a coca-cola...

then get into the "cobra" yoga position--lie on your stomach and raise your upper body up on your elbows (almost like a push up, but try to leave your pelvis/bellybutton area on the floor. bend backwards as far as you can go and tip your head back a bit as well). when you get comfortable, bend your legs up at the knees if you can. (picture this--try to touch the back of your head with your toes.)

sometimes, when i just can't do the cobra, i just lie on the floor, arms down at my sides, with my head turned to the side and a source of white noise somewhere nearby.

call me crazy, but these work for me.

Ibuprofen works for me but I take 300-600mg at a time for cramps. Just don't take more than 2400mg/24hours.

I LOVE those Thermacare body heat pads for cramps!
Works great if your on the move and can't sit or lay down with an electric heating pad.
