I have been going through clothes getting them ready for consignment sales and have come across about 5 or 6 stained items and I have concluded that it must be mildew from being stored in the attic. Does anyone know how to get this out? I have tried Spray-N-Wash and that didn't do it. Of course none of them are white so bleach is out! My mom suggested Biz. Do they still make it and does it work? Any other suggestions?

Soak them in white vinegar...then wash.

I have never found a way to get mildew out. A former neighbor of mine swears by the Spray and Wash 2 in 1. You know the one I'm talking about? The container looks almost like toilet bowl cleaner and the 2 sides don't mix together until you actually pour it on the fabric. You might want to try that.
