My washer is acting like it is off cycle. I start it like I normally do and it's already spinning, then at the end the clothes are soaking wet like it misses the spin cycle. I tried to redo the spin cycle and that doesn't work.

Anyone out there know what is wrong?

Ugh. Is the water draining? That's what happened with mine, but the water wasn't draining and we found out it was the pump. Needed a new one. However, our washer was 10 years old and the pump, if available, w/installation, would have been close to the price of a new-lower end washer. We ended up sucking it up and buying a new washer - a good decision in our case.

Call your manufacturer - they won't really diagnose it, but can give you ideas. I also google on the web when things like this happen to me. It could also be the timer, but either way, it sounds like you need the dreaded SERVICE CALL.

Mine did that last month. It would wash the cloths, then wouldn't go on to the spin cycle. I called the repairman and he said it was the little plastic thingie (technical term) that is on the lid that pushes a button when the lid is down, anyway that broke off of mine. He just rigged it so that I didn't need it anymore.
