There is a lady that I have met through mom's group that is super nice. We have been emailing each other when not in group - chit chatting, getting the scoop on the town, exchanging ideas about group, etc, etc. Well I invited her over yesterday to talk "in real life" and had so much fun! :yay!:

Now this doesn't sound like much I am sure, but I am not normally one to take first steps to meet people. I like to sit back until I am really (I mean really) comfortable, never really introduce myself first, don't really start conversations ~ that sort of thing ~ I have totally reached outside of my comfort zone (hey - that should've been my blogging goal

).

We have so much in common, and felt so comfortable around each other. We talked for 3.5 hours, and could've kept going but the kids needed lunch

. I am so glad to have met someone - she is just as excited as I am! DH just laughs and says it's like I am in elementary school again...she is all I have been talking about all night

I am so happy for you. I can sense how giggly you are about it....feels good doesn't it? Hope it continues to go well for you!

What a great feeling! So glad you were able to meet someone close to you that you get along with so well! It was the same way with Rookie and I when we finally met last summer. Neither one of us can believe we've only known each other like 7-8 months. I think we talk on the phone daily....usually several times a day!
