I'm glad you called. First, my friend's sister lost her cat - looked everywhere, put up signs, etc. 2 years later she saw a "found cat" ad at the pet store. Sure enough, it was her cat. They were happily reunited. Secondly, you talk to strangers every day & you're doing fine! Your voice is fine! Don't worry about strangers judging you. Third, we found a white female kitten 14years ago. She is our Kimba. But we ran "found cat" ads for her for weeks. We just could not figure out how no one would claim such a beautiful cat. But we did get one call. Even tho the ad said female, all white kitten, this guy called about a male cat, white w/ some other colors, several years old. He'd lost the cat months earlier. He was in tears. Broke my heart. But it was OK. He needed to talk to someone, and I was that someone for 5 minutes, and hopefully it helped him to know that I would keep an eye out for his kitty as well.
