LIly came home yesterday morning!!!! It is wonderful. The doctor discharged her with the realization if he does not get better she will be re-admitted. Nothing they were doing was helping her cough/wheezing. The dc'd the steroid as it was not changing anything for her excpet she was wild! She is on her nebs every 4 hours, antibiotics and of course her prevacid for reflux. Today we are having attachment issues, which is just fine with me! But thank goodness for my baby bjorn!
It is great to be home.....wish I could say she was better but her doc said it will take her a lot longer to get over the RSv as her lungs were already really damaged from all the pneumonias. So he told me jokingly to keep her in a bubble! no taking her anywhere except doctors appointments and keep company to a limit..
So yeah, each time I bring her home from her hospital stays I feel like I am bringing my baby home for the first time!

Glad to hear that she is home! Wish she was doing better. I will continue to keep you in my prayers and hopefully she will feel better soon. In the mean time at least you two can have some special bonding time.

Oh I remember the day we brought our little girl home from her hospital stay and it is like bringing them home for the first time. LOL mine also wouldnt let me put her down for about a week after we got home. I am so glad that you guys are home and I hope you are there for good! Enjoy her wanting you because before you know it someone else will be more interesting and it will be see ya later mom!

I'm so glad she's home. I do wish she was better. RSV is nasty, but at least the pneumonia is gone. Come on, Lily, heal.. we all want to join you in a happy dance! At least you're with mommy now.

If you can possibly get some time away tonight and have dh be with her, it would be good for you - even if it's a bath alone with the door closed.
