I ought to add that my NPD mom and I have a really nice relationship right now. It is possible with distance. I only see her maybe once a month for an hour or two and we never discuss anything of real importance. I DO NOT let any personal info slip to her and I usually let the petty little jabs just roll off me like water. My ds loves his grandma and she loves being a fun grandma so everyone is happy-ish! LOL Sometimes it is like watching two toddlers play though!
