just curious on how often your dh (so) goes out with the guys (hunting, fishing, to the bar or what ever)?

then how often do you do some thing as a couple?

when do you go out with the girls?

how often do you do outings (park picnic zoo etc.) as a family?

2. Just about daily, but we are alone on Sat (son is with his dad)
3. I can if I want, but they are too busy.
4. Lots when its nice out. Every weekend we get out of the house to do something fun.

Dh never goes out with the guys.
We only go out on a date night maybe 3 times a year.
I never go out wiht the girls. ONly during the day time while he is working.
We do family outings once a month.

1. Pretty much never, he could if he wanted, but he is a home body.
2. A few times a year, maybe.
3. Rarely, but I could if I wanted to, or had any girls to go out with
4. Rarely, but we go to alot of the kids sports activities

DH goes out every Tuesday (not really a guys night - he is at a rehearsal for a group he is in but he's out of the house right after dinner). On Thursday's he goes to the bar with his buddy (while our daughters are at dance a few doors down). Then, usually every 2-3 months he has a guys weekend or something of the such.

We get to go out every Monday as a couple (we have a rehearsal and then we go out for dinner/drinks). we also get to go out just about every Sunday when my parents have their quality time with the kids.

I don't get to go out with the girls too often anymore. Timing just doesn't allow it. we try and get together once a month but it's been a few months since that's happened. Generally, girls night is having a drink when I pick the kids up from daycare.

We try and go out on the weekends when it's really nice outside - we walk at night during the summer.

when do you go out with the girls? once a month, usually tea, or lunch one saturday

how often do you do outings (park picnic zoo etc.) as a family? lets see when the weather gets nice, I'm planning on weekly

then how often do you do some thing as a couple? once every few months if we're lucky

when do you go out with the girls? same as he goes out with the guys

how often do you do outings (park picnic zoo etc.) as a family? as often as we can...most weekends and in the summer some weekkdays/nights

then how often do you do some thing as a couple? We try to go to dinner together twice a month without the kids. Otherwise, we make quick trips to the grocery store without them, etc. Do those times count!?!

when do you go out with the girls? At least once a month, leaving him with the kids. I play Bunco. I also will do an occassionaly shopping night...but only every other month or so. However, if I WANT to go do something, dh has no problem with me doing it most anytime.

how often do you do outings (park picnic zoo etc.) as a family? At least every other week, whether it be to somewhere like you mentioned, eating out for pizza, McDonald's, or just walking the neighborhood.


Now the big question for YOU.....WHY????

Shaking in my boots (well, if I was wearing them in the middle of summer!), but glad to be back!

1. DH goes out hunting,fishing etc at least 1 -2 a month for a couple of days each time sometimes it is only for the day and others it is 4+ days at a time. Some months like August and September it is more like 20+ days each of those months. He as a boys night out 1 a month with the guys from work (he makes it about every other month).

2. As a couple we go out ALONE without kids 2-4 times a year. Our anniversary, The Fireman's Ball, maybe once to do Christmas shopping for the kids, and maybe once to an event like a friends wedding.

3. Maybe 3 times a year. Hard to arrange schedules to all work. My dh wouldn't care if I went out more, I just can't seem to find time when he is home. And when he is home I prefer to spend it together as a family. With him working 24 hour shifts, and always out in the woods it is nice to be around him when he is home.

4. TONS we spend a lot of time at our cabin both summer and winter and when he is home we hike mountains, go fishing, bike ride, go on walks, work in the yard as a family, go to the park, etc........................
