He was talking about things the girls do in his first grade class that excluded the boys, and was talking about being friends w/girls and how he liked girls. I kiddingly said, "Do you wish you were a girl?" His response:

"No! Because then I'd have to go through the pain when I have kids."

He said his little best friend, a girl, is OK with going thru pain because she wants kids.
