Okay, that's TWICE you've made me laugh like an idiot today! :D

Uh, not so big to anyone else, but he finally stood up to his overbearing, controlling b*tchy sisters in my honor.... And beieve me ...they are SCARY...I know grown men that quiver in their presence (1 of them is married to the Queen B*tch) . That's LOVE.

That was 2 years ago and we haven't spoken to them since....it's been a good 2 years......

My dh is a pretty low key guy. RArely is he affectionate. He hugs and kisses me. Loves me in his special way, but rarely if EVER does anything over the top romantic or grand standish...that was until May 13, 2006!!

On his commissioning day, after his bars were put on his shoulders, there is time set aside in the ceremony in which the sailor can address the audience. He takes that time to thank his parents for everything they sacrificed to raise eight NORMAL children and 10 grand children. He focused primarily on his dad and all the life lessons his dad passed down to him. Then in that moment, he choked up and then gestured to me and said " and I want to thank my wife for her endless support....(tears).....without her behind me I would not be here today. I want to thank her for her encouragement, her strength and her dedication. She's a great woman, a wonderful mother and a loving supportive wife. Every thing I am doing I am doing to make a better life for her. She is my inspiration" (tears, tears, tears).

This from a man who NEVER EVER does anything like this...nor cries

It was the single most romantic and special day in my life. I felt so cherished and loved. Everyone else got choked up by it too. Including his siblings, their spouses and his own parents!!!!!!!

Nope!!! Not in the 21 + years we have been married. But that's okay, if he did, he wouldn't be the man I love!

You're telling me that if your man, went out of his way to make up this romantic evening for you, EVEN after 21 years, it woudln't bring a tear to your eye?
