so we went to the dr today and i brought up that ds still walks pigeontoed. with is toes slightly pointing inward, well its not really bad, i mean he has no difficulty walking, but i wanted to know if that would go away or not, well now he has to go see a specialist since it turns out he seems to have a slight twist to his tibia which is why his feet turn inwards a bit. so the dr is gonna call me with an appointment with the specialist. our dr said that he hopes the problem will straighten out on its own but wants to get it checked just to be on the safe side. so no idea when we will have t go do that, hopefully not to far in the future.

My 2 year old walks the same way but we were lucky and they said there were no orthopedic problems but it can be a pain because I know she trips herself and falls a lot. Good luck! I hope everything is ok!

Best wishes and hopes for you. If it isn't something he'll grow out of, at least the consolation is that it was caught early.

It certainly doesn't hurt to have it checked out. My son also has an inward rotation of his feet and I had him checked. The Dr. told me it would probably correct itself by the time he is 12. I only have to go back if it worsens or he is in pain. He said years ago they used to put braces on the kids but have since found out that it isn't necessary in most cases.
