My brother is getting married and I'm a bridesmaid in the wedding. The bridesmaid dresses are strapless. My problem area with the dress would have to be my boobs. I've nursed 3 children, so the ol' girls aren't what they used to be. I tried on an A-line bra w/the dress but it didn't give me enough 'lift' if that makes sense. The dress is designed to show a *little* bit of cleavage but I have *none*. My chest pretty much looks flat so I'm looking for something to give a lift plus add a little cleavage. To top it off my chest looks a little bony. Anyone have suggestions? The lady at the bridal shop suggested I tape my boobs like they do in pageants---I was hoping for something a little less crazy. Thanks!!

I'm sorry for the title and I hope it doesn't offend anyone.

It's crazy but duct tape does the trick. We bought speciality bras for my friends wedding but all of the bridesmaid switched to tape after seeing the results on 1 girl.

Yikes! Does it hurt when you pull the duct tape off?

I've seen self adhesive bras at walmart so that's one part of the solution, I have no idea if they could be used with "chicken cutlets" the silicone/vinyl things that you can insert in a bra to give you a lift, but that might help as well with whatever kind of bra you can find.
I think if you find something uplifting you might find your chest looks less bony that way.

I would check out Victoria's Secret. They have a ton of solutions for the strapless dress.

I was in a wedding in June and wore a strapless dress. Victoria's Secret has those adhesive bras people are talking about, and a lot of people recommended them to me too. I decided not to buy one since I wanted more lift and padding than I thought they would provide. I bought a VS regular padded strapless bra, and it worked just fine. It also came with detachable straps so that I could wear it again like my normal bras. Make sure your dress isn't too loose across the chest - that should help too.

Have fun!

Yes. A little. LOL Have some wine first...

I agree with the others that said to go to Victoria's Secret, with the dress if possible and let them help you - they have a lot of options!

OK! I just was in a wedding and I couldn't get the alterations around my boobs in time for the wedding. So I went to VS, and got those boob enhancers, you can use them with a regular bra or with their specially designed one (keep in mind, the bra costs about 50. and the enhancers cost about 28.). If you don't want to buy the special braGet a bra that is a cup size bigger than you are ( target...6.99!!!) and just lift your boob up to the top and stick the enhancers at an angle underneath your boob.

They were really good. Also, if you have time, do some chest presses - use soup cans, whatever you got around the house - it helps firm the muscles in your chest and perks up them ta-tas.

Anyways, you can always use the good old toliet paper trick.lol.

I just did a D cup (from target) with those boob enhancers ( from VS). It was about 30.00 altogether and it worked fine for one night. Also, if you can - get some extra strength double sided sticky tape to line the top of the dress if you are worried about it staying in place. HTH!
