I didn't even think they were gonna call, but they did. I got called for a second interview for a job I applied for a few weeks ago. When she called me and invited me for the second interview, I was kinda hemming and hawing with her over the phone about weather this was a good move for me. When she met with me today, she asked why I came and I replied with, WELL, I'm hoping that you will give me a good reason to take this job or NOT. LOL

The postition was for a cook/ supervisor in a kitchen at a health care center. I've been doing this job already for 3 years now. My boss got me upset if you recall, and I got upset and started sending out resumes. Now I think I might have been a little bit hasty.

Well we chatted and she offered me $3 more per hour than what I make now. I told her I didnt' think I could do full time, the commute is longer and the hours are 11=7:30. My main concern is my kiddos, that is kinda a long drive, AND a long day to be away from them. I said my girls would be fine, they are in school, but my little guy is only 2 and I would never find anyone to watch him 5 days a week till after 8pm. SO she offered me part time, AND there is a onsite child care center. It closes at 6 though so she was gonna talk to the director and see if it was possible to keep it open 1 more hour for me and keep Cameron, and I would be able to leave at 7, she wouldn't make me stay till 7:30. I was like OKAY, this we can work with!!

But because I'm hemming and hawing so much, LOL she has started interviewing other people for the job, which I told her I completly understand. I'm really not gonna be upset if I don't get this job, but boy did she make it sound appealing today! LOL All along I kept telling people, I'm going to that interview for that job I don't want. ROFL.

SO maybe this is a sign that I need to take this job?? Maybe???? wish me luck!

My gut feeling is that this sounds right for you, and they are willing to be flexible, but only you know if it really is. Just don't wait too long!!! Sounds like they think you're a gem, and they're right.
