Have you even watched that show Clean Sweep on TLC? One way to get rid of clutter is to just plain get rid of it. I do that.
I dont know what your home looks like or where to start, but just pick a room to start in and go through your closet get rid of things you havent worn in 2 yrs, cause most likely youll never wear it. Sort through all of your paperwork, anything important put them into a shoebox for now and later get a small filing cabinet and hanging files and label them.
Slowly but surely you can do this.
Im not sure how old your 2 children are, but try to get them to play in their rooms or teach them to put their toys away when they are done playing if not tell them that youll get rid of them.
