I have a few (and a few are repeats):
1. Gas drops - dani's right - couldn't live without 'em!!!
2. Swing - only way I could get the boys to naps some days
3. Breast pump - I went back to work with DS#1 was 4 months old, and avoided buying formula unti he was 8 months old
4. The book "The Happiest Baby on the Block" (I actually borrowed this from the library) - the directions in there for swaddling were a LIFESAVER with my 2nd son. It even gave the right dimensions for a blanket that would work; I just got some flannel from Rag Shop and made my own.
5. Baby Mozart and Baby Bach videos - these were the only 2 Baby Einsteins my kids liked as little babies and it allowed me to cook dinner during *the witching hour*
6. Boppy pillow - I know many people don't like this, but it helped me tremendously with breastfeeding especially in the early days w/ DS#1 since I had trouble at first.
7. Glider rocker
8. CD "Sleep, Baby, Sleep" by Nicolette Larson - beautiful lullabies
I know - that's a lot of things!! But think about ALL the baby products out there and 8 isn't so bad!!!
