Wave Update on Anti Anxiety Medicine...I have decieded

Hi everyone,

Well went to the dr today and have decieded to go on the medicine. She recommened Paxil at 10 mg and then come back in month and readjust the medicine if needed.

Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a warning on paxil.....there are a LOT of warnings out on it. Please read up on it before starting the medication...and if it worries you at all, ask for an alternative!

Yes, I believe the warnings were for pregnant mothers.

Good for you. I think it usually takes 2 weeks to notice a difference. Like I mentioned, I was on it about 10 years ago. I had no side effects at all.

Thanks everyone!!!

I called some local pharmies to ask them about it and the risk and all. Most of them said they would even have someone in their family take it . So....hoping for a change.
