Thanks for the words of support! It is nice to know I'm not alone and that other moms are going through the same types of things.

Yes, it is almost over, and these 8 inches of snow we're supposed to get should really help! (just kidding - can't tell I'm bitter, can you?!)

Hang in there! I know how you feel... I have had the crabby mom who needs a break syndrome, too! Infact, I am there right now!

It is almost over though, and make sure when it is you do get a break--- a REAL one!! with no kids, and no stress!

Sorry Kim - I feel the same way in the summer. (That's our busy season) But he does occasionally give me me time and in the winter I get it whenever I ask!

I feel your pain Kim! My dh is an electrician for an electrical contactor that does ALOT of work for Schwan's Food Company and my dh is the first on the list for any service calls to all their plants plus does any wiring for their remodels, additions. I can't tell you how many times he's been called in the middle of the night, week-ends, etc. PLus, we live 30 miles from there. It seems like he's never home and doing the single parenting thing wears me out!
My hats off to all single moms! I am in awe of how you do it!

I sympathize with you. I go thru the same thing all winter long (and for me winter starts sometime in Nov & sometimes doesn't let up until the end of April if we're lucky). My DH plows snow for the state of PA & his hours stink. He usually works 12 hour shifts & then when he comes home he's cranky & mostly sleeps. I feel like a widow every winter. My DH has had this job for the past 9 years. There were some years I didn't know if i'd make it. I take care of the girls myself, plus work full time. THis past week my DH worked his normal shift last wed, thur & fri & then worked another 39 hours of overtime between Wed & this past Easter Sunday. I miss him so much. I got very cranky with him last night because he had a meeting & the night before he didn't feel good & was sleeping on the couch when I got home from work. Needless to say, I really haven't talked to him since last Tuesday. Too long for me. Hang in there, I'm trying to. HUgs!

I TOTALLY am there with you! DH has been working a lot and had to go out of town for a Partner's Conference two weeks ago and I have pretty much seen him for about 6 hours total since then! To make matters worse, I decided to torture myself and change dd into her big girl bed from a crib last week and made her binky disappear yesterday. We went to the dentist and she said it was effecting her top teeth...

I must be crazy...

Pool water? I've never heard of people getting water delivered for their pools.
