I don't have an example for every category but I do have a few favorites! 1st of I had a coupon so i thought I'd try the new "Fabreeze Noticeables" and IMO they really do work!! I live on a farm and we get all kinds of smells So it's nice to catch a wiff of the Air freshener rather than cow manure once in a while!!
Also, I also just bought a big jug of Purex brand fabric softener and really like it, it works as well as Downey and only costs 1/2 as much, smells nice too!!

Ladies who love Real Simple magazine: Has it changed? I tried it back in 2001 when I became SAHM and found everything, from the ideas to the ads, very high end and expensive. Has it become more realistic?

This is not a new product but maybe one that needs to be revisited: the rice cooker.
For years I scoffed at these (you know- how hard is it to cook rice, right?). But then one was given to me as a gift and- dang! All those years I was making rice the hard way. The rice cooker could not be easier: put in rice and water, press one button. That's it. And it will sit there and keep the rice warm for you unitl you are ready to eat. With two kids and rice as a major food staple for my food allergy dd, this has been a wonder gadget for me.
FYI: Quick Cooking Mag is now called Simple and Delicious (but it is still awesome).
Also- I used to like Real Simple mag but cancelled my subsrciption when it ran an article on major time wasters and listed breast feeding in the top ten. UGH.
