Rylie (5 years), Brooklynn (2 years), Baby #3 due August 25th
Were you ready for motherhood?
I felt very ready but I do remember when my very first pregnancy test was positive I had a brief sense of panic!
Do you have any nervous habits? What are they?
I tend to pick at my fingernails when I’m nervous. It is so subconscious I don’t even know I’m doing it!
Did you ever date a guy your parents did not like? Were they right about him?
My parents weren’t crazy about my DH when I started dating him. I don’t think it had anything to do with him personally; they just didn’t like the fact that I had a “serious” relationship with someone (P.S. I was 14 when we started dating!).
What do you want your kids to remember the most about you?
Just that I absolutely love them, more than anything in this world.
What did you learn the most from your mother?
Patience! She had 5 kids in 6 years and she did an awesome job!
How many coupons do you use on a regular basis? What is your best money saving tip?
I use coupons all the time. I very rarely go shopping without them. I use them at the grocery store, target, even at the mall. I hate paying full price for anything. I really feel like throwing away a $1.00 for something you need is just like throwing a dollar bill in the garbage!
How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you referred here?
My sister in law told me about it. She never comes to mommysavers but I have been hooked for a few years now! I love it!
Have you ever met a mommysaver?
No but I would love to sometime. As far as I know, I don’t live very close to any members
What is the most romantic thing your dh ever did for you?
My husband planned a weekend get together for our 5 year anniversary. I was so surprised! We left our daughter at grandma’s and were on our own for 2 days!
He has always been so good about getting me flowers and for Valentine’s day this year he bought me diamond earrings!!!!
Tell us five things you like about yourself.
I think I’m a very good loyal friend and a good mother (most of the time!!). I have compassion for people and try not to be too judgmental.
What hobby do you enjoy the most? What got you started on it? How would you rate yourself? Can you show us a picture of your proudest piece of work?
I love to scrapbook but don’t have enough time to do it! It’s really “my time” when I sit down to do it and I love my albums. My kids should have no problems remembering what they looked like when they were little!!!
How many frogs did you kiss before you found Mr. Right? Was he worth the wait?
Wyatt has been my only “real” relationship and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have no regrets with our relationship at all!
What is your favorite genre of music? Who is your favorite group? Have you ever seen them in concert?
I like all kinds of music but country is my favorite. I love Rascal Flatts, and have never seen them in concert.
Which room in your house best reflects your personality?
My scrapbook room, it has all my favorite things in it!
What do you see your children growing up to be like? What career path would they choose?
I think my girls will be very strong when they grow up. If you ask my 5 year old what her career will be she’ll tell you…a cowgirl!
Is there something we would never guess about you? Some kind or quirk you have no one close to you knows about. (C’mon tell us!!!!)
