Do you think I can wear these with pantyhose or bare. The dress I have is more formal and I don't think the dress would look good without hose. these are for dd's first communion.

I would wear them without pantyhose. In my personal opinion I do not like panty hose with open toed shoes or sandals. I don't see why you could not wear a pant suit. I wouldn't think that there would be anything wrong with that.

I was so bummed out when they made the "you can't were panty hose with opened toe shoes" rule. I need hose to cover my so white they reflect the sun legs. You can buy hose now that have open toes (the best of both worlds). I think JCPenney has them.

Yup you can wear a pant suit and nope no pantyhose. If you wear the suit those shoes would be perfect cause you wouldnt see bare leg. Just make sure that you have a nice pedicure. Congrats on the communion.

I agree. Bare legs, & pantsuit ok. If you're like the previous poster and me, you could always get some fake tanner so you're less white than the shoes. (I'm white, too. I always say we buy dark sheets so my husband can find me.)

Pantyhose in any kind of shoes are tragic!! I hate them, and won't wear them. I have sucessfully avoided wearing anything that would require me to. I don't care if my legs are pale as long as the rest of me is - there is no point in trying to make my legs look darker if the rest of me is pale.

As for the pantsuit - I would wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. I think it is acceptable to wear pants for communion.

I'm laughing here b/c I have a permanate tan. :D Nice color too if you can look past all the scars from when I was a kid. It really isn't that bad expect for the ugly scar I have on my knee. that I got as an adult. My big problem is the same as everyone else after winter in MN- dry skin.
edited to add: If I wear the pantsuit (aqua color) can dh wear a regular suit? everything he has is conservative and dark. I think we will clash. The best suit I can think of is his dark blue suit but maybe make him wear a colored shirt? what color?ugggghhhhhh.

edited again to add: see the chick in the bathing suit for nutrisystem? schroll up, mine is on the left. well her top has three colors and my suit is close to the middle color.

I am with everyone else no hose and the pant suit is a go. I wear pant/capri suits for almost everything since I hate my legs.
