I had posted before about my nephew having a growth on his privates. Well, it turns out it was a hernia. He is having surgery today, and if you all wouldn't mind to keep him in your prayers, I would really appreciate it. It is out-patient and as long as there are no complications, he'll get to come home today. Thank you all so much.

I will definitely keep in my prayers. My ds had surgery when he was 4 to remove a hernia from his testicle. The surgeon told us it is very common in little boys, although that was news to us. I am sure your nephew will do great. He may be sore for a few days.

Saying a prayer for your nephew,my 3 yr old was recently diagnosed with an epigastric hernia above his belly button again like another said common in little boys! However unless his gets infected or he complains of pain there is nothing they will do.
