I remember seeing someone post on our old batering board that they were looking for new and expired. It always made me uneasy.

I'm a breastfeeder and so are all of my friends with babies here so I just threw all of mine away.

Next time I'll give them to you ladies.

Geez. I've been giving mine away - Usually $6-$10 a shot. However, I remember something about a black market for formula - I don't know if it goes to Mexico or something - that seems to be in the back of my mind, and people have been buying up tons at stores. Target and some others have put a limit on how many you can buy. Maybe someone who works at a Target or Walmart can clue us in.

I've signed up with Similac and was getting coupons for my friend who wasn't sure if bf was going to work for her. Since it is ( - I had a rough time and had to stop ) I just tore them up and threw them away. They had my name and address (I think) on them and I was always worried about giving them away or selling them like that.

Besides when I had to use the darn things 4 years ago the cashiers always checked my name and address - how do other people get around that? I've had my share giving me a hard time because we moved right before ds was born and the address wasn't the same, and this was at Walmart How do other people that aren't even on the check get to use them anyway?

Wal Mart is the worse for that. I always just tell them that I traded my cousins or something. That they can only use certain kind of formula but we can use anything. I think they ask for id though because they are actually considered to be real checks that they deposit into their account.

I got had some Good Start coupons one time in someone else's name and was able to use them at Walmart with no trouble.

I've got a can of Enfamil Next Step and a coupon that I got in the mail. And I don't even use Enfamil!

Mine never have an address and I used my initials so I don't worry about trading them (but have only done so with gals from this board)

As for names, I have only once had someone question me and that was when I used 2 checks with different names. I just said a friend had given me hers and the cashier left it at that.

As for expired, Overseas commissaries will let you use expired coupons up to like 30 days (or something) past expiration. And, some stores don't check dates so I guess if the store doesn't care, why not use them?

Guess I always thought eBayers just needed formula. Nvere thought about trying to return formula for money. I have heard severla places that formula companies were catching onto people EBaying their checks and were trying to stop it, but I don't know how true that is.

I have NEVER had them check my name or address, must be your area. We live in a relatively small area.

Same here....I sell lots of them on eBay & it's normally the same 2-3 buyers!!
I am on a few coupon boards & some of the ladies CAN use expired coupons, like up to 3 months or so, at certain stores.
