When I get formula coupons in the mail... I list them on ebay and put a "Buy it now" price on it (for usually half price of the coupon total) and they sell INSTANTLY. Im talking within a matter a minutes someone uses the buy it now option.

I know there is one lady on mommysavers that asks for expired coupons too... and Im just wondering.. what are these people doing with them!? I dont think the people who buy them from me on ebay are using them to buy formula?

Is there something I dont know? LOL

This is what I think...

People use them and then take back what they buy and get a refund and then no one knows they used a check...

Or they scan them onto their computers and then make more of them!

Yeah, I'm not getting the expired formula check thing unless there is a place near her that will accept them if they're expired.

However, I did read one mom's (and I don't even remember who it was) post that said her dh would "splice" old coupons with new coupons so it looked like they had a new date on them...for restaurants.

I don't know either. I thought maybe buy formula with the coupon and then sell the formula on ebay for more money. It seems like a lot of time and effort. I bought them on a trading board before but that was for actual formula.

I want to know how the heck you are getting the coupons and checks in the first place. I joined the stupid club and even called 3 months later when I hadn't gotten a darn thing from them. They sent me a few $5 coupons and then I never got another one again. My baby will be 1 next month. LAME!!! I remember with my first I got lots of them, but that was 6 years ago.

I sell them on E-bay all the time, most of the time for 90% of the value. The same person almost always buys them. My theory is that they have a retail connection and turn them into the company as redeemed. I'm sure it's shady.

I don't get it either. I list some of my formula checks on Ebay too. but I do it at an auction and if, say, I put on $27 worth of coupons, they sell for $25, so how is that profitable if they are using them to buy formula?
