Well, it wasn't what we thought it would be, but with understanding. The First Lady couldn't be there because she is with the Queen at the White House. However, she DID read them their story VIA video and explained why she couldn't be here. Then they gave the kids bags with a scrapbook for when their parents are deployed, and a story book about a parent who is deployed. It was very well done and the kids had a blast.

cute!!!! Sorry Mrs. Bush couldn't be there though. That would have been terrific, I admire her SO much!! One of my favorite First ladies for sure!!

To tell you the truth, I had no idea she was a teacher AND a librarian. She's a very kind and elegant lady to me. I will definitely miss her when G.W. is out of office.
