I'm super excited about this Sunday. We are taking our 4 kids to a private story time. The exciting part is Laura Bush will be reading the stories. I'm super excited, she will be taking pictures with the kids, signing their copy of the book she's reading to them and they will be getting a little "goody" pack. However, I'm SUPER nervous. With kids 4 months, 2 yrs, 3 years, and 5 years old I can only imagine SOMETHING will happen. Keep your fingers crossed that this will be a memorable event for all the GOOD reasons

I don't care for her husband, but I like her and would take my girls to a reading if the option came available. Have fun and relax. Kids aren't going to sit perfectly and I'm sure she knows that.

Do you have restrictions on what you can bring in the room or does Secret Service just go through your diaper bag?

We weren't told not to bring anything, but I think that I will just carry a bottle and a diaper in for the baby. It's going to be on the base, so I know it won't be too bad.

That's really cool! I agree about the other post about not caring for her hubby- but I do like her for the most part! I would also just take the basics- bottles, diaper, wipes garbage baby in case it's a bad diaper. I also think that she will understand if the little ones start to act up- she seems to care a lot for children, she had twins and she does a lot of these readings so she has probably has seen it all!
