Can you smell it? It's on my front porch and I can smell it around back on the deck!!!


It was a surprise I got last week!

Sniff Sniff....I think I can smell it here! I LOVE lilacs! What a beautiful surprise!

How beautiful. I LOVE lilacs. I wonder if I can plant them here in AZ.. I have a feeling my ground is too hard - they grow into big bushes, so I can't imagine they do well in containers. Ah...fond memories!

I just looked it up. Most lilacs will grow in zones 3-7. Most of AZ is zoned 6 & 7, so just maybe if you can water it, it will grow!

I too LOVE lilacs and that is so pretty! I can not wait until my dh plants a couple for me. I've only seen lilac or purple colored ones but don't they also come in white or pink? I'd love to get a pink one!

Susannah I love it. Its very pretty. I have 3 on the side of our driveway and 3 in front of our picture window. I also have 6 of them in the back yard that I can smell wafting in my bedroom window last night. :D

I wasn't exactly done posting about this but had to cut it short earlier.

We also went to Menards today to buy 3 more lilac bushes. They are only $10 this week at Menards. Which is cheap.

This came at a nice time. My dad has been in the hospital since last monday and I've been doing stuff for my mom who can't see well and driving her back and forth to the hospital.

Oh I would love that. I think next year we will get a few for our back yard. We are mulching in a large section of our yard and that would be a great place for those.
