OK, so we got a flag pole and are going to install it in our front yard.
We'd like to hang the American Flag along with the Marine Flag.
I am new to this so do I/can I hang them together?
Or do I hang one on top of the other and which one?
I know you are supposed to bring them down at dark unless
you have a light shining on them right?
I want to make sure I do this properly!
TIA!

The only way that I have seen 2 flags on one pole was one on top the other. HTH

I would think one on top of the other and the american flag on top.

Also, yes you MUST take them down at night unless you have a light. ALso, if it is raining, take them down, even in the middle of the day.

They can be hung togethere but when it is displayed from the same flagpole United States flag must always be at the top.

The flag should be flown only between sunrise and sunset. It should be illuminated if displayed at night.

Hope this helps.
