I would think you don't need to worry about what your insurance is or isn't paying for, if this is from your not-at-fault accident the other guy's insurance should be paying!
Considering what Shabin said, talk it over w/ the dr/pt tomorrow and make sure they are aware of your concerns before they do anything to you, ask him or her what else could be wrong. If still not comfortable w/ it, then leave and find another dr for a 2nd opinion. JMO.
