I feel as if I have toned things down a bit in the "sex-appeal" department. I'm just getting older and don't feel comfortable in the tight trendy clothes anymore. My shorts have gotten longer (thank goodness this is the style now anyhow) and my shirts aren't quite so form-fitting as they used to be.
I still do my hair and make-up before I go out of the house though. I like to wear casual clothes that look nice.

After my first son was born, I did not let myself go. Lost all of my baby weight, exercised etc. I felt good about myself and it showed. I made an effort to look presentable. After the birth of my twins when my first was 2.5 yrs. I tried to take care of myself in the beginning, but then I back slided. When they hit 2, I started changing my ways. I ate healthier, lost some weight and got regular haircuts. Now I find with a child in school in town, I run into alot of people I know when I go to the store etc. Now I find I am more conscious of how I look when I go out!!!

OMG yes!!! I don't get to hop in the shower in the morning anymore, so my showers are at night. With really curly hair this makes my hair a nightmare during the day. Usually its just pulled back. Plus I used to wear makeup. Well, now its when I fell down and need to feel like I look good. I laugh when the suave commercial comes on, because I feel like that.

I did for awhile. Then I finally pulled myself together the last 2 yrs and started wearing new styles and bought jeans that fit right. I also lost some weight.
I am going to have a little one in July and hope I can pull it back together quicker this time.
I probably will since I think I will be gaining about 25 pounds total this time around and will want to fit into my cute clothes again

Okay, this is me. Plus, for myself I shower, do my makeup and hair almost every morning. I do this if we go somewhere or stay in. Now as far as treating myself to hair cuts, manacures etc....I need to work on that.

Ok, after I've read all of the posts, I have emptied out my entire closet!!! My side anyway! I have a pile of "eeewwww" or size small and size 5/6 clothes that are OUTTA HERE! There's no sense living back there! If I ever get back to a size 6, we'll call it a new beginning and buy brand new size 6!! I am only keeping one pair of the really torn ripped, old raggedy jeans for painting and other really dirty work. Other than that, I'm keeping those only in decent shape or that fit!!

I am a stay at home mom of 3. It is easy to let yourself go. I'm in the process of working out and trying to lose some weight. I can't wait to go shopping for some news clothes. For Mother's day my family gave me a gift certificate for a massage or the like. My hubby said he thought I should treat myself. I guess I'll keep him around

I am definitly feeling frumpy! Once you have kids your body might weigh the same but doesn't look the same! I really need a closet overhaul. I just want to get rid of everything too small, too low cut and if that leaves 2-3 outfits, so be it! My focus this summer is to walk more and eat better, I used to always be a really healthy eater but now with 3 kids it's funny how things can really slide

" I ain't never been the Barbie Doll type" to quote Gretchen Wilson from "Redneck Woman". Yes, i do feel like i've really let myself go. Being sick with this bronchitus, pneumonia crap since April has really got me looking like something dead that the dog dragged home. I just got a haircut this afternoon and it looks nothing like the picture i took with me, i have the "buster brown" bangs that i hate, i should know better-this hairstylist always cuts them that way, but dd needed a haircut too and she only feels comfortable with this particular lady. I try to look presentable, but when your overweight, not many things look good on you, KWIM? Extra money is usually spent on the kids first, so that leaves little for stocking my wardrobe of the latest fashions.
The one thing i really hate.........getting all dressed up and thinking i look damn good, then catching a glimpse of yourself in a full length mirror (or shop window) and seeing what you REALLY look like. Man, talk about someone taking a thumbtack to your balloon bouquet!!

I had to laugh at the "shave my legs part" - I am with you sister... well actually I still do not do it often, but am working on it!
