I feel your pain. There's nothing like typing out a reply and clicking send, only to be told you're suddenly a guest and don't have that option.

I will not click "remember me," either. I too have a shared computer (work) and cannot use this option.

I used to log in once in the morning and be able to click back whenever I had a spare second. Can't do that anymore. Whatever.

I just re-set the options again to help accomodate this. You will still have to log on again if your session remains inactive for more than 10 minutes. If I set this too high, it can interfere with the time it takes to load pages. Originally the board was set at 15 min, yesterday I changed it to 5 (which is when you posted with your problem) and now it's back at 10. We'll try that to see if it works. I can see where certain posts would take 5 min to type, but most should be able to be written in under 10.

ok, so far the remember me thing isnt quite working. or maybe it is. I still have to log on more than once just not every 5 min.

I was having te same problem at work and we have cable internet. Then I seen the remember me button and as long as I click that I'm good to go allday even if I close the browser and then reopen it.

I'm not having that problem....but my pages load a little slower than the old DB. I never had a problem w/the size of siggies, etc. I'm thinking it's the adds for some reason. But i'm still addicted.... lol

I havent been logged out, but it is painfully slow. I hardly post anymore because it takes way too long to post and then get back to the page i was on before. I am about to give up.
