I had heard rumors of one, so today we went and found it! It is 30 minutes away, but it is made for preschoolers and was so worth it! We had SO much fun! There was a large area set up with different activities...buckets that tip with water, large daisies that shoot out water, a rainbow that has constant water mist...and a ton more. I invited one lady from church, who ended up inviting one, who invited one...and there ended up to be 6 of us mommies there with our kids...and we all had a ball! It was totally free, had shaded areas for picnics and just resting. I feel SO good just to have had a day with other mommies and let my kids play outside one more time before summer ends. Just had to share!

Thats so great. In Staten Island where I used to live they had a great park and they had large flowers that shot out water.
I'm glad you found a good, free place and had a good day!

The county park here has a giant sprinkler area that we love to frequent. Its not free - $1 for over 3 or you can get a year pass. But, since the kids are unnder 3, its only $1 for water fun and the huge playground. Love it!!

It sounds like you found a great free place!!

It IS free everyday...and yes, brensmom..it is padded..so no hot concrete under little feet!! It is actually set up as three large circles..and each circle overlaps, but has a bit of a different theme in play.

Wow, too awesome!! I so wish we had something like that around here. We do have the YMCA pool, but of course, there's the membership fee. A change of scenery would be so nice for the kids.

Hey Jennifer,
I took my family there a couple of weeks ago! Isn't it GREAT!!!! The kids had such a great time. I can't wait to go back again! My husband even joined in the action. I have some pretty funny pictures of him going under the rainbow!
