Guess I should've said I'm near Bowling Green, Kentucky...and that the $2.76 is for regular unleaded.

I'm wondering how many people this is going to end up sending into a welfare line or a line at a lawyer's office to file bankruptcy because the cost of living keeps going way up and the pay is NOT.

its $2.93 here, just this past Saturday it was only $2.86, its outrageous how it changes so quickly.

This evening it was 2.97 for regular, I'm northwest of Columbus OH.

Medicmama, it's funny you posted that about the price a year ago, dh & I were sorting some old files this weekend and found copies of his expenses for driving to NJ for work last February and he had a gas receipt that was 2.14 a gallon! We both had a laugh at how cheap that sounds now...I only hope that in a year 2.97 isn't sounding cheap!

In northern Wisconsin, we're up to 3.18-3.24 depending on the hour and the day. We are in a resort area and the prices tend to to up, up, up during any holiday stretch. I hope to see what it will be up to over Labor Day! Yikes!!!!

2.99 in NW Minnesota. Grand Forks, ND is over $3, so we know it's going to be going up for us soon.
