Right now, our gas is $2.76 per gallon, I've been getting it for $2.73 with a loyalty card. However, I was told that gas was possibly going up a WHOLE DOLLAR!?!?! Is this true and if so, why??? I'm horrible at keeping up with current events and I apologize ahead of time if this has been addressed.

OMG! You have got to be kidding. Only $2.76 a gallon. I would love that! Here it is at $3.09 and they are saying that w/in by the weekend it will go up another .10 cents. I am so jealous of you right now.

We are at $3.05 here, gosh I hope it doesn't go up another dollar, I have already been cutting out my driving everywhere and trying to stay at home more.

its going up because the bp gasline in alaska broke and they have to shut down one of their faclities so we will get screwed at the pump again....they said on the world new tonight that they do not know how long it will take to fix.(months)...right now here in iowa gas is running 2.92 for mid grade with premium above 3 bucks so i'm sure by the weekend here mid grade will be over 3 bucks... this whole gas thing just gets me irritated it does not have to be like this and experts are saying it will never go back down the way it was... well i hope companies start paying there employees more for cost of living cause everything is going up except pay... well i'm done ranting now!

$2.89 right now, but we'll see where it ends up this weekend!!

Here in Western Wisconsin in our little town of 2,500, gas is $3.15!!! I have been updating my now 1 year olds baby book, and there was a section in there of what prices were at the time of her birth (July 29, 2005)... and under the gas section, I had written $2.37, and we thought that was so high back then, I only wish it was that now!!!!!!!
