Good point, aliadam! I should just play stupid and weak!

Last year when they moved in, dh was busy doing something with his dad so as a last resort she asked me to help her move something. She has mentioned since then how strong I am and how much I surprised her that I can use tools. HELLO! I lived by myself for many years and did not get married until I was 28! What did she think I did to fix things?? Call my Daddy who lived 500 miles away?

Nah...no one would ever accuse me of playing stupid or weak, but I just don't like to worry about such small things. Life's too short.

Oops! Didn't mean you were stupid or weak! Just remembering my story that followed about my mil thinking I was stupid and weak and then surprised when I wasn't.

I understand about the little things, but when they pile all the little things on top of each other, it gets to me! As you know yesterday, she was trying to bait me so I came her! lol
