What a miserable day yesterday! DH and I both got it after we were out and about... I had to stop and hurl my guts out into a drainage grate in the parking lot of a gas station along side a major busy road (that was embarrassing... and no one even stopped to offer me water or anything!), and DH ended up on the couch of some friendly strangers because he couldn't ride his motorcycle one second longer..they ended up driving him home! We'll have to go back and get his bike later.

I think my poor 9-wk old DS is getting it today . Thankfully DH and I are all better.

Are you sure its not food poisoning? Think of the places you ate.

No, I'm not sure it wasn't food poisoning. We did get some food at a local restaurant the night before, but DH and I each ate different things, and a friend who ate there too didn't get sick. So it could have been. But all I know is that it was awful!

How miserable for you and dh! I hope the baby doesn't get it.

Many years ago when my oldest was about 14 mos. dh and I both got the stomach flu at the same time. I remember laying on the floor waiting for my mom to come and pick up our son and take to daycare for the day because we were too sick and didn't want him to catch it. Luckily by the end of the day we were both feeling better but it was miserable while we had it.
