We just received an invitation to a relative's confirmation. What is an appropriate gift? Money?
If it makes an difference, the relative is a 13-year-old boy who will be confirmed in a Lutheran church.

I would give money.

i would give a bond. if you spend 25 he gets a 50 dollar bond. you will need his ss # or you can use yours. I liked it when my dd got them

This is what we do for all baptisms and confirmations we get invited to. I loved them for my boys, so we get them for everyone else, too.
